 A Mano Restaurant is where Tuscany meets the North Fork, serving up wood-fired pizzas, pastas, and other Italian inspired specialties, created with ingredients fresh from local East End farms and bays. Conveniently located in Mattituck, this is the go to place for lunch, dinner, and even weekend brunch.

A Mano is a local year-round favorite for its menu, winelist and the casually elegant vibe. Like the menu, the extensive winelist of more than 100 labels blends local varietals with old world Italian favorites to complement any dish you choose. If your adult beverage preferences do not include wine or brew, consider a signature cocktail from the versatile repertoire their friendly mixologists. Happy hour begins at 4pm.

There is something for everyone at A Mano, but the pastas and gourmet pizzas are the stars in this osteria’s cuisine. Reservations are not always required, but are recommended.

Whenever I find myself in need of a mini vacation, Shelter Island tops the list as a destination choice. Though a five minute ferry ride from Greenport, I am transported to another world and one of my favorite things is enjoying lunch or dinner at The Pridwin Hotel. Lunch on the deck overlooking Crescent Beach might be a chilled soup, salad, and fresh fruit. Dinner in the dining room is a gourmet event offering the freshest seafood, imaginative cuisine and a wonderful selection of Long Island wines. Their website presents menus, but you have to go there to experience the taste and the romance.

 Touch of Venice is a favorite North Fork Italian restaurant that manages to be relaxed and local without forgetting its world class manners. Visit this Cutchogue eatery any time of the year to enjoy farm fresh local cuisine prepared with Italian soul, and count on attentive, friendly service.

The menu has lunch and dinner offerings which nicely blend elegant vintage European style with the best of the North Fork.
